  2. Do not cut, grind or sand metal or use any materials that produce sparks, with the Dust Cutter installed.
  3. Always operate the table saw with the safety guard in place, properly adjusted and in good working order.
  4. Do not clear or empty dust from the Dust Cutter while the saw is operating.
  5. Do not install the Dust Cutter on any saw in any other manner than described in the installation section below.
  6. Empty the Dust Cutter frequently to prevent excessive dust which could result in a fire hazard.
  7. Openings in the table saw or between the table saw and the stand should not be blocked unless approved by the table saw manufacturer.
  8. Frequently empty vacuum, clean filter and periodically remove and shake out the Dust Cutter.

Installation – Follow Above Safety Instructions!

  • Turn the table saw over with the work surface resting flat on the floor.
  • Locate the best place to attach the Velcro® type hook fastener inside the stand frame (Fig. A).
  • Thoroughly clean the stand slats where the hook fastener will be attached. Clean using water, but no solvents, soap or detergents of any kind and wait for the surfaces to completely dry before applying the hook fastener. This is most important for a secure fit.
  • Position the hook fastener as close to the top of the sides of the stand as possible using a straight path ABOVE OR BETWEEN THE BOLTS BUT NOT IN LINE WITH THEM (Fig. B). (note - the Dust Cutter is designed to fit several different size stands. It may be larger than your saw, but you should be able to overlap the edges at each corner to achieve a tight fit)
  • Cut enough hook fastener to span each side of the stand, peel the backing off each piece and install. Once in place, press firmly on the hook fastener to ensure a tight fit. Adhesive dry time is 24 hours.
  • After the adhesive on the hook fastener has dried, install the Dust Cutter making sure that the vacuum connector is located at the rear of the machine. Turn the table saw upright and you are ready to go!
  • To install in table saw housing, fit the hook fastener inside the bottom of the table saw housing (Fig. C), put saw on saw horses, and ensure that Dust Cutter hangs freely between the saw horses. Do not cover any portion of the housing that is intended for venting the unit!

Vacuum Mode Operation – Follow Above Safety Instructions

  1. Remove the vacuum connector plug and insert the vacuum hose. (Fig. D) (note: since vac hoses vary slightly in size, you may need to put one of the enclosed rubber bushings on the vac hose for a tight fit into the vac connector)
  2. Plug in the table saw, turn on the vacuum and then turn on the table saw.
  3. If the dust does not flow freely into the vacuum, turn off & unplug table saw and vacuum and remove obstructions.

Funnel Mode Operation - Follow Above Safety Instructions

  1. Place a trash receptacle under the Dust Cutter and open the zipper.
  2. Plug in the table saw and resume cutting.
  3. If the dust does not flow freely into the receptacle, turn off the table saw, unplug it and remove obstructions.

Collector mode - Follow Above Safety Instructions

  1. The vacuum plug must be installed securely into the vacuum connector and the Dust Cutter zipper must be in the closed position.
  2. Place a container under the zipper and then unzip the Dust Cutter.
  3. Shake the Dust Cutter until the container is empty.
